Changing the Narrative - Conservation in Cannabis

Our Home

We’re proud to grow in Bracebridge, Ontario for many reasons, one being that the town is powered by 70% renewable energy. Bracebridge was one of the first municipalities in Canada to generate hydroelectric power. In 1894 the town built an 84-kilowatt generator, becoming a pioneer for renewable energy. 125 years later, approximately 70 percent of Bracebridge electricity comes from hydro generation. We’re proud to grow in a community that values sustainable practices and we aim to implement that theme of conservancy into everything we do.

Our Flower Tin

Sustainable responsibility not only shapes the way we cultivate our high-quality flower but also how we package it. Selected with product quality, consumer safety, and environmental sustainability in mind, the new packaging is 100% recyclable and tightly sealed to push out oxygen and preserve the freshness of our craft cannabis. It even has a little bit of a cannabis ‘legacy’!

Quality Seal

If not properly sealed, the quality of your cannabis will naturally break down over time, drying out with the exposure to oxygen. Designed for cannabis and pharmaceutical-grade products, our flower packaging process is the first in Ontario to apply nitrogen to our high-grade cans, pushing oxygen out and sealing in fresh cannabis.

Fresh Product

Terpene and cannabinoids are preserved, giving you a fresh aroma every time you open your favourite Muskoka Grown strain. Replacing the oxygen with nitrogen not only reduces oxidation and degradation of your product, but it will also increase the quality of product shelf life.

Sustainable Tin

Our tin cans are 100% recyclable, made of a high-grade tinplate steel and aluminum. Today, both materialsaluminum and steel are widely and easily recycled on a global level, with 63% of aluminum cans recycled worldwide. Approximately 3x more recyclable than plastic, they are most often recycled directly back into themselves meaning the average can has a very high percentage of recycled content.

Travel Safe Storage

Our tins are robust and hardwearing enough to protect cannabis during transport while providing an impenetrable barrier against light and oxygen, allowing the product to be stored without losing quality.

Removable Child-Proof Lid

Child and PET resistant lids have been applied on top of each can to meet Health Canada Regulations. The plastic, childproof tops are made of recyclable plastic and with both parts clearly labeled for you to recycle correctly. These safety lids operate the same as a standard child-proof bottle.

Established Legacy

This isn’t the first time cannabis and tin cans have met. Known as “tuna cans”, they are heavily used in the legacy market for border crossing as the smell became heavily masked and hidden by the nature of the seal.
